The Church of Our Lady Before Tyn, or Tyn Church,

(Týnský Chrám)

dominates one side of the Old Town Square. The two spires of this powerful looking Gothic church (with a Baroque interior) can be seen from all over Prague.

Tyn Church was founded in 1385, a tumultuous period when Hussites were being slaughtered by the ruling Roman Catholics. Indeed, in time Catholic Jesuits took over the church, recasting the bell and replacing the Hussites symbolic chalice with a large figure of Mary nailed between the towers.

Tyn Church is impressive by day, striking by night, lit up against the dark night sky. Take a close look at the two spires. They are not symmetrical. This is characteristic of the gothic architecture of the time and is a representation of both the masculine and feminine sides of the world.

Peanut Island

Peanut Island is truly a piece of paradise in our own backyard. I would say Peanut Island is the Martha’s Vineyard of the Palm Beaches.

The island also features a blast shelter built in secret for President John F. Kennedy shortly after his 1960 election. Kennedy often spent winters in nearby Palm Beach, Florida.

Here in these photos below we can see some of the palm beaches residents having fun in the sun.

No me conosco.

de los recuerdos, parecia que aquel encuentro se habia hecho en el lugar mas frio del mundo, aquel saludo de ayer no fue el mismo, nisiquiera nuestras miradas se encontraron, solo atine a mantenerme lejos, esperanzado de que tomara el primer paso hacia la salida de mi abismo, un abismo que segun parecia Yo era el unico que me encontraba en el, pasamos horas entre cuatro paredes pero no se conjugo nada, Yo me mantube en mi lugar como un niño en su esquina de castigo, esperanzando un perdon que no llego, solo pensaba en aquellos años en donde todo era risas y alegrias, imaginaba un pasado en un presente muy diferente, paso el rato y lo vi planear una salida, de seguro que fue para salir de ese momento incomodo en que se encontraba, lo vi salir por la puerta con un apuro disimulado y sin despedida, sabia que seria la ultima vez que lo veria aunque me hubiese quedado la noche entera, me reproche tantas y tantas veces mi cobardia de no haber roto ese tempano de hielo, solo quede con las ganas y con los recuerdos de aquellos dias de risas que disfrute a su lado y aunque me dolio, hoy me llena de miedo el saber que no me arrepiento de la indiferiencia que estube, porque todabia sigo esperando la repuesta de un, WHY?.
